Client is required to set up a free account in my training app. (link is sent to client).

Client must complete several Client Forms as well as an online Consultation Form prior to the start of the program.
Program begins 1 day after client receives program.
Program is the agreed to and specified duration: either for 4 weeks (28 days) and the 28 days are consecutive or for 8 weeks (56 days) and the 56 days are consecutive.

Weekly check-ins are required; failure to check in on time will result in no updates for the following week or late updates to the meal plan for the following week.

Georgetown Rec Center Clients who want to supplement their in person personal training sessions with a structured training program, but do not want coaching services, may purchase  a program for a standalone fee. This program does not include any updates, weekly check-ins, or access to the training app. Clients will receive their training program via e-mail in word document form and are responsible for logging and tracking their workouts and training.

One Time Custom Training Program

Hiring a personal trainer is a beneficial for everyone, from clients just beginning their fitness journey to more advanced lifters and athletes. Personal training clients receive hands on, in person feedback and instruction within our training sessions for proper form, technique, and intensity among many other benefits. I have discovered over the years that while this is great, clients need more in order to optimize results; they need to learn and create sustainable daily habits and behavioral changes for long term success which allows them to make fitness fit seamlessly into their daily lives.

Clients who combine regular personal training sessions with an online training program have a higher likelihood of reaching their goals because they have all of the benefits listed above and they receive a detailed program with a specific structured workout split and cardio schedule designed to meet their unique fitness and physique goals, taking into consideration their time constraints and equipment available, as well as laying out all the details and they know exactly what to do on their own during the rest of the week. Clients have access to a structured customized program within my training app where they are able to schedule and log their training sessions with me as well as workouts on their own, set daily and weekly activity and lifestyle habits and goals, track and measure progress several ways, view exercise videos, print workouts, and receive feedback on exercise intensity, form, and technique, communicate with me, and work together to address areas for improvement/concern. Clients send weekly check-ins on time and their programs are updated based on adherence, honesty, and biofeedback. Clients who have programs laid out and simplified essentially have a map for their journey toward their goals. It takes the guesswork, hassle, and confusion out of their way so they can simply focus on working hard in and out of the gym.

Clients often ask, "Why do I need a program if I train in person? Doesn't the personal training rate include a program?"

The short answer is that over the years, I have found that while all clients benefit from in person personal training, most clients need more than just the time they spend training with their trainer one to five days a week. Personal Training provides numerous benefits; however, Personal Trainers who are truly Coaches are life changing.


The Personal Trainer/Coach and client work together as a team to achieve the client's goals over time. A training session or two isn't a one and done then send the client on their way, it's a continuous journey and changes over time. What worked for a client 20 years ago may not work now and what a client did before may not have been the healthiest or smartest way. Clients who have a Coach to help guide and navigate their fitness journey and teach them is invaluable.


Most clients, from beginner to advanced, old young, injured to healthy, etc., can all benefit from supplementing their personal training sessions with coaching to create lasting changes and a achieve a higher rate of success. Personal Trainers and Coaches are more than just rep counters, they are guides for each client through their unique fitness journey.


Clients often want additional training days on their own, need changes to their workouts/training/nutrition, assistance with working through life's obstacles, guidance along the way to create new habits, learn how to implement their training plan and workouts, make adjustments to form, technique, reps/sets, tempo, exercise selection, coaching to progress within their program to produce the results they want, as well as working around and through injuries, challenging schedules, travel, etc.
